3.5.15 CHALLENGE: ADDING MILESTONES FOR SUCCESS

IMG_2018I have been so excited to hear from many of you who are experiencing great success already following the 3.5.15 CHALLENGE plan! It is great to hear that you are discovering how easy it can be to reach your goals when they are broke down into small steps.

SMALL STEPS BRING BIG GAINS

 

Breaking out your overall goal into small, achievable steps creates excitement and builds confidence that you can actually reach goals that have seemed out of reach. As you walk this journey keep in mind how you might be able to replicate this approach in other areas of your life.

 

MILESTONES

As your enter in to the second full week of the 3.5.15 CHALLENGE I’d like to give you another element that will help you stay on track.

 

“MAKE A DATE”

 

You have your goal of each area of Mind, Body and Spirit. Additionally there are your 5 Action Steps that are small and achievable to complete by 3.5.15. Now, pull out your calendar and set a date out beside each step that you would like to achieve the particular Action Step by.

 

EXAMPLE

STEP GOAL/STEPS DATE
BODY Goal: Eat 5 Healthy Meals a Week 3.5.2015
Step 1 Research & Select 5 Meal Recipes Jan 19, 2015
Step 2 Prepare & Serve 1 Healthy Meal Weeks of Jan 19 and 26
Step 3 Prepare & Serve 2 Healthy Meals Weeks of Feb 2 and 9
Step 4 Prepare & Serve 3 Healthy Meals Weeks of Feb 16 and 23
Step 5 Prepare & Serve 5 Healthy Meals Weeks of Feb 23 and Mar 2

 

Adding dates to your Action Steps sets targets that drive you to push toward. Generally if we say we want to achieve several things over a period of time, the time will slip away before we know it. Tracking with small milestones help us avoid that time slipping past us.
